In businesses where one is supervising employees, part of the strategies for addressing trust issues when dealing with conflict is to create an environment of trust. “Conflicts will always arise, which will challenge the environment of trust. This breakdown can be toxic for the whole team. The result will be decreased productivity,” states Grossman. “The solution is to intentionally and systematically build an environment of trust. Make it part of the culture. My goal is to provide businesses and employees with the tools to manage conflict within the workplace and in their personal relationships,” adds Grossman.
“Conflict is a part of all of our lives. It is impossible to live and work with others without coming across conflict in our daily lives,” says Grossman. “We are all diverse in our background, beliefs, and values. We are also diverse in our people skills and abilities to communicate, and our world is becoming even more diverse each day. It is this diversity that is making conflict even more commonplace,” explained Grossman.
