Attorney Keith Grossman Presented "Dealing
with Difficult Families When You're the Guardian" to
Professional Guardians
Fort Myers, FL – August 12, 2013 - Attorney
and Mediator Keith Grossman, founder and managing partner of Grossman Law & Conflict Management, shared ways to effectively deal with difficult families as a guardian with the Professional Guardians group on May 22, 2013. In his presentation "Dealing with Difficult Families When You're the Guardian," Grossman offered advice on recognizing the characteristics of difficult behavior and the best ways to respond. The attendees learned ways to effectively communicate and work together with difficult parties to reduce conflict. Grossman provided techniques and tips to avoid disagreement in order to achieve overall goals. "Everybody deals with difficult people in their lives. Guardians are in particularly sensitive situation where their focus is on advocating for the child. This can potentially cause conflict within a family dynamic that is unproductive and can be avoided," says Grossman. "There are ways to effectively engage with others to avoid this conflict. The goal of my presentation was to give guardians the tips and techniques they need to effectively deal with difficult family members," Grossman explains. |
